October – Tourmaline “The gemstone of the rainbow” A magnificent stone that fosters healing, balance, love, serenity and understanding. It encourages vitality and relieves chronic exhaustion. The dark pink (rubellite) is known to unite the heart and body for love and passion. According to Egyptian legend, tourmaline passed over a rainbow on its journey up from the center of the Earth and so assumed all its colours. In modern days it is still referred to as the ‘gem of the rainbow’.
